I currently work for Fraser Health as a nurse clinician for the Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) program. EPI is an evidenced-based specialized approach to providing services to individuals affected by first episode psychosis.Psychosis refers to a number of conditions that affect the mind. These conditions cause an individual to lose contact with reality. The goal of early intervention is to reduce the length of time a person remains psychotic in order to improve their chances of recovery and prevent further deterioration.
